STAR Program

STAR logoThe STAR (Scholarships/ Training/ Awards/ Recertification) Grant Program is a giving opportunity developed by the HealthAlliance Foundation to assist HealthAlliance employees in professional skill development and advancement.

Since its inception in 2015, the STAR Program has funded over $58,000 in continuing education scholarships to HealthAlliance employees across multiple clinical and operational departments, including:

  • Cancer Care and Oncology Support Program
  • Cardiac Care
  • DialysisSTAR Collage
  • Emergency Department
  • Environmental Services
  • Intensive Care Unit
  • Medical Library
  • Mental & Behavioral Health
  • Nutritional Services
  • Obstetrics/Maternity
  • Pharmacy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Radiology
  • Respiratory/Sleep Lab
  • Surgical Services
  • Wound Care

Funding levels from $5,000 to $100,000 have been established to endow everything from short-term scholarships through lasting/annual awards.
